Little utility to test joystick Axes and Buttons

has anyone thought about using a joystick controller to do sculpting, or painting?
Just imagine how cumbersome it is guiding a mouse pointer with a gamepad. Iād imagine sculpting and modeling would be that much worse.
Probably an idea best left on the table.
