Hello everyone,
I worked on a tool for my in-house control rig creation. Current solution are limited by blender’s geometry and I wanted to have controls that can be varied in line thickness and shapes.
What is Juggernaut Control Rig Tools?
Juggernaut Control Rig is a Blender add-on that provides a set of tools to make any rig look more professional and modern with GPU-driven procedural control rig widgets that are highly customizable to fit any situation.
With the provided tools you can make control rigs that are a joy to animate with.
Please take a look at the demonstration video showcasing how I animated a walk cycle using Juggernaut.
To exemplify you can make rigs that look like this

Features:
- Evaluated pose transforms, including constraints, drivers, and an optional transform bone.
- Occluded, X-ray, and viewport-following depth modes.
- Clickable pose-bone pick proxies.
- Adjustable Thick Edges controls built from solid quad strips.
Here’s a video about the features too:

- Clean preset wire topology without internal triangulation diagonals.
- Adjustable radial, longitudinal, latitude, tube, and hemisphere edge counts for applicable presets.
- Dedicated thick-outline 2D circle, square, triangle, pentagon, and hexagon controls.
- One-click symmetrization from the active widget to its mirrored L/R bone.
- Rest-space mirror transforms that follow independently posed counterpart bones.
- Optional inset face borders for Thick Edges, with independently controlled openings.
- Extrusion depth for 2D controls and independent head/tail radial sizing for 3D shapes.
- Independent Object/Edit/Pose visibility with native Edit Mode bones replaced by rest-position widgets.
- Overlapping widgets are selected by view-ray depth from either side view, independent of L/R bone order.
- Batch targeting by pose selection, list rows, bone collection, or name prefix.
- Custom shapes extraction based on selected bone weight paint, and edit mode for further extracted mesh refinement.
