At first, I just wanted to try animation because I hadn’t done any for a year and a half, but I liked how it looked (which happens once a year) and decided to polish it with textures and lightning, also I did a simple animated pixel texture for the character.
I found online a simple pixelation trick that applies to any textures, blender noise/procedurals, and imported images.
Cell fracture simulation was simpler, I just did it with the Annotate tool to emphasize where the impact is happening.
It’s just a viewport screenshot that also shows the volumetric light sphere.
