I’ve worked in cycles for a few months now, but this is one of my first pictures with a lot of particle systems, and my first attempt at things like moss and lichen.

Add a translucent shader on those plant materials so they look more realistic. Try creating separate moss strands, each with varying colors: green, brownish and yellow green.

Thanks for the advice on translucent shaders. I did model the moss with seperate strands, but they still look too thick.
