I’m not sure but I think it is partially possible to simulate volumetric particles using the 2D Filters.
I don’t know a lot about shader programming (certainly not when it comes to 2D Filters) but if anyone does. Tell me why it is not possible.
I think it would probably be impossible because 2D Filters are used for full-screen effects.
Or just go outside with a camera and get some yourself.
U have to be living in an appropriate area though… Its the best way however, theres an unlimited amount of textures out there.
