Merry Christmas first of all!
A lot of people have modelled something from their vicinity. A pen on the desk, a glass, whatever it could be. I’ve actually never done that so I figured that it would be a good exercise. So I decided to model our Jura S8 coffee maker. It has quite a lot of angles, bends and curves so it turned out to be a great exercise. I modelled it by simply walking back and forth to the kitchen and then “eyeballing” the scale, radius etc. It’s not completly accurate when it comes to scale, but that’s what you get when not using proper dimensions
