why is the top of the door different from the bottom? does it open in a different way from a normal door or is it a design element?

@Carbonflux: I must say I don’t have any story behind this one. Got the idea from a modelling challenge titled “A portal” and noticed it had already ended when I was about to post the image. :smiley:
