Hi, im currently making a game character. And i know that you need to make em low poly because of framerate, performance, etc. Im currently modeling, so how should i model my clothes? Should i make a duplicate part of the body, seperate it from the mesh, model it a bit, then join it with the mesh? Or should i just(if im making a shirt) extrude the upper body and edgesplit it, etc etc. Im doing plan A. I just wanna know what’s best and what’s the difference? Please anyone help.
Typically clothing is painted on character.
What’s the difference?
The differance is that your way is modeled and the other way uses a texture (no geometry)
