This is my first try at fake DoF using composite nodes. It’s a bit sparse, but I love how the white space(paper) balances out the other colors. And doing this I found out that by adding some light bloom(additive blur) makes any image look better than they really are. 
The DoF looks nice but the wood material could use some work and you need a bit more light. =)
