Since Ubershaders are not that bad anymore because the Mixnode was optimized for 1 and 0 Factors, I decided to create my own ubershader that fits my needs. I really liked the Vray standart material VrayMTL so i tried to make it somehow similar to it. The Reflection/Refraction/Emission Mix Factor is controlled with its colorvalue in the color input. So for example black Refract means no Refraction, White or full-value-color means full Refraction/Reflection…
The Gain Value is (not like Emission) an multiplier for the incoming light. Not physically accurate but nice.
The file contains the CyclesMTL nodegroup with the most used Settings and the CyclesMTL adv nodegroup with some extra options (see below).
I think all Options are self explaining otherwise.
