Just installed Blender … fantastic, beautiful piece of software!!!
So yeah, will have plenty of questions, obviously, so… I really adore 3D Coat’s ability/function to bind keys straight from the workspace, by just hovering over the button/tool/menu item, hitting ‘END’ … and you may bind your key to that…
Find it so beautiful and useful…
So yeah, that would be neat if one could do that…

How do you make a solid out of beveled bezier?
It does not work sometimes, for some reason… It does seem to be assigned, doesn’t work though…
its a shame that some functions/features/settings are not ‘Bindable’…
Things like turning off/on ‘Normals’ in the curve/bezier panel…
Also, the ‘Input’ user pref. panel is kind of confusing too… I’d like to reassign Undo History, but I am not able to find it… not even New File…
RMB on the ‘Undo History’ button (in toolshelf) and select ‘Change Shortcut’ or in User Preferences / Input just search for ‘History’
How do you make a solid out of beveled bezier?
The ‘Fill Caps’ tickbox. Convrt a curve object to a mesh from the Object / Convert To menu (shortcut Alt+C)
For some reason binding rarely works for me, whether I bind it from Usr/Pref or with RMB…
Wait… working now… funny… but yeah… this shit rules
If you change a shortcut you’ll have to make sure it doesn’t clash with any existing shortcuts
ah yeah, shame it doesn’ warn about conflicts… or does it??
