Just realised something about Blender outliner

I’ve been using blender with very heavy scenes lately, 1000s of objects etc. Also because of the viewport selection lag I’ve been using mostly outliner for selection and visibility/selection/render flag switching.

Something has been bothering me but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. It just occurred to me what it was…the icons! They are right aligned when in most programs they are left aligned right next to layer/object name. I have been following the alternating lines trying to find the corresponding icon, and missing from time to time.

It just seems to me its much better to have it right aligned, anyone know the reasoning behind the way it is now?
