Keep Player on Moving Ground

Trying to create moving platforms but unless my character is moving along with the platforms, it does not stay on. How can I keep my character on the platform while it moves?

you dont want to parent… you lose all physics.

what i do is figure out which way the platform under you is moving, accounting rotation too, and add the linear velocity or otherwise move player.

You’re right. I work with statics only and fake the physics on an update method so I could do this kind of thing. I keep forgetting it’s not the default.
