Love this, the bonsai tree is awesome. Feels like it would need a little more room in the base / pot for the roots with a tree of that size, though.

Ah, thank you! And good eye on the perceived depth , but it’s actually not a pot sitting on top. It’s a recessed planter cut directly into the floor structure, so the roots actually go deep down into the plinth beneath the tiles.
I wanted it to feel integrated rather than just placed there
