Kerkythea export???

I downloaded Kerkythea and wanted to try it out (mainly because YafRay is too dark) and also got the B2K download. But now how do I use it? Do I have to export from blender in xml format and then open it in K, or is there a more efficient way of doing it?

Thankx

Yeah, the blender lighting needs to be significantly “tweaked” to get good yafray lighting…

As to the export xml question: yes, that’s the workflow. I believe it gets the scene into K’s interface, then you gotta tweak it from there. I don’t know how/if this would work for anims…

Yafray is more integrated into Blenders UI 'cause its developer was (at the time) well motivated to have a good modeller for his renderer.

Thanks, I tried Kerk out, me no likey. Takes WAY TOO LONG to render and the way it’s set up is counter intuitaive - to me anyways.
I think I’ll stick with YafRay and the Blend Rend for now - unless someone has a better free renderer?

Thats odd, I found K to be by far the fastest GI renderer I have tried. Though this obviosuly depends on the settings.

Depends, what do you want out of it? Realism? Get Indigo. Speed? Stick with blender or use K.
