Keyboard has only 6 Function keys.

My keyboard has no number pad. I have it set to emulate numpad.

I need a key for F12(render)
I’d like to make the render key F1

Also, I have not period key. I need a “view selected” key.
I’m not sure what key I want to make it maybe Q.

how do I achieve this??

For blender 2.55 use the menus, change the key configuration in the user preferences (File / User Preferences / Input) or search for ‘view sel’

got the q key as my view selected.

will i just have to use the menu to render since i dont have an f12 key?

I am using blender 2.55

never mind…i got render set to a side button on my mouse.

I like my new keyboard but it sucks for blender. :frowning:
