I’m building a water simulation and want to cut the flow of water from the inflow. I’ve tried keyframing the enable value and the velocity (not at the same time!) but they both give strange results.
Without the keyframing, the inflow gives a nice solid influx of water which is what I want. With keyframing, initially as enabled (or velocity as I’d like it) and 250 frames later keyframing disabled (or velocity at zero) of the inflow, the initial inflow (with keyfamed enabled or velocity at the value I want) is just a dribble. Increasing the velocity to counter this does nothing.
Is this a known problem? I have seen YouTube clips where people have managed this but for some reason I cannot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
