Keyframing liquid simulation.

Hi guys, I’m having a few issues with a liquid simulation. In my animation I melt an object so I need the simulation to start about 3/4 through the entire piece. I’m wondering how you keyframe the liquid simulation to start at an exact frame?

Any help is much appreciated.


I did something like this and I used a script to pull a mesh out the fuild sim and scuplted to blend between the two. THis was doen age ago so I am tempted to do it again with all the new tools and renders.

See I’m after the reverse of that. Or even just being able to put the simulation on hold untill the camera gets to the right spot would be fine.
