I have finally got somewhere with my killer7 rip-off, and have created a sort of particle system to simulate the explosion effect seen when defeating enemies in killer7. At the moment it’s very basic (and uses a lot of pre-made code), but I was wondering if anyone could help optimise it, so it doesn’t slow down so much. Maybe it’s just a limitation of the game engine.
