kind of a random question...

I was just wondering, how can you get the cubed root of a number? Is it in math or something? I can’t seem to figure it out.

import math
a = 8
b = 3
c = math.pow (a, 1.0/b)
print c

I think this should work :slight_smile:

Hope that helps,

n = 8
print (n**(1.0/3))

Is a simpler way to write it (without using the math module)

in Pre-Calc they told me that its impossible to find a cube root but i guess were passed that.

It seems to work fine. Thanks.
