[$] Kinetica — 15 one-click motion presets that don't touch your existing keyframes

Most motion-preset add-ons write straight into the object’s action, which means they overwrite whatever animation is already on it. Kinetica writes to delta channels instead — delta_location, delta_rotation, delta_scale — so existing NLA strips, rigged actions and base keyframes stay untouched. That is the design premise, and most of the rest follows from it.

The 15 presets

  • Material-driven Fade In / Fade Out, with a live duration slider
  • Bounce In, Squash & Stretch, Pop Out and Zoom Punch, all on safe positive-curve interpolation
  • Six-directional slides and one-shot axis rotations
  • Five infinite loops — Float, Spin, Wobble, Shake, Pulse — with independent speed controls

The parts I actually built it for

  • Stagger — select 50 objects, set a delay, click a preset, and the animation cascades across all of them
  • Stack Mode — layer several presets on the same object without erasing the previous ones
  • Smart material isolation — fading an object that shares a material makes a single-user copy first, so you don’t fade half your scene by accident
  • Quaternion handling — imported quaternion rotations are converted to XYZ on the fly instead of failing silently
  • One-click cleanup — clear transforms, or strip everything (drivers, nodes, keyframes) back to the original state

Compatibility

Blender 3.x, 4.x and 5.x, including the 4.4+ slotted actions API. Windows, macOS and Linux. EEVEE, Cycles and Workbench. Currently v7.12.

Preset requests and bug reports are welcome in this thread — I’m still adding to it.
