Kitchen scene - updated new picture (pls critics)

Hope to get some critics on my recent try on doing a kitchen scene…

The scene is still in the early modeling stage…
This rendered picture still is far from complete as the material is unfinished, the lighting haven’t properly set (I only place an area light and use AO), modeling part is still yet to be completed …

Any suggestion or critics is welcome to improve on my current drawings…
Off to do some modeling part again…

Thanks for viewing

How about a smaller floor texture? With a floor that big you would use more boards - unless of course it is a patterned linoleum?

I think the floor is fine but there is something about the side of that counter top that bugs me. Might want to tweak the textures a little.

thanks for the suggestion…

I’ve modify the flooring to be a smaller, added some accessories and added lighting below the hood and behind the brick wall…

I still see that it really need a lot of work on it…
Hope to complete it fast…

Thanks for all the comments

Yeah. I like the floor texture better at that size, but now it really shows that it is tiled.
Are the counter tops too narrow? Maybe they should extend out a bit further from the wall.

today I model a bar chair but it doesn’t seem to be good…

Any suggestion or guides to improve on it?

Thanks ya…

Hm yea I see what you mean. It does look like a chair if you know that beforehand. Otherwise it looks like a huge wine glass. Maybe you could try adding a cushion on top of it and maybe making the back a little taller. That might help but good job man!

Here the updated link to the pictures

Hope that I’m working on the right path… :spin:

Looking better! The chairs still seem to bother me though. Maybe make them more smooth and not have any sharp edges anywhere. That might help.
