I was watching a tutorial on how to create a wire fence, when i added some array pieces, a lag appear. Things like moving the object, rotating, scaling. Also there is slow react at performing functions like increasing the values of X/Y/Z in the array modification menu.
Here are my specifications, please if possible, tip me about what i can make so it become a better to use Blender.
System:
Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Yes, Blender is becoming bloated and slow just like the other “professional” 3D applications. There is an option under User Preference/System tab called Window Draw method. Try the various options to see if you can increase performance.
Tried them all but still laging, simple things like switching object mode to edit mode and vice verca, taking about 2 seconds to complete the swap.
What might cousing this lag? In the tutorial i wached (its from blendercoockie), the guy who was showing it, received no lag at all, even didnt noticed, and my lag drasticaly increased after i started to stack more array’s.?

The more blender has to calculate the slower it will be to refresh the screen.
Anyone, any thoughts from what might cousing this lag?
Complexity of your scene, make your meshes simpler in the viewport and your hardware specification
The mesh is simpler as it can, i followed the video guide by pausing each few seconds to keep up with the mouse directions and clicking around the menu’s.
Is there anything i can do to imrpove my hardware, please guide me on what exactly i have to make. I wish to keep learning with Blender.
