Land of Boxes

Rendered in Cycles. I took me 3 hours to make this (including the rendering). Critics or comments are really appreciated.

P.S. I am new here so don’t be too harsh, ok? thank you

This is really good!did you do any compositing afterwards? And how did you do it? Particles? Or straight modeling?

Looks ok, for a begin. Maybe you can add a story to it. Like a man of an animal standing on one of the first block, and that the rest is blurred. And add some colour

I really like it! It’s pretty simple, but the DOF and such is spot on. I agree with what The.Jack says though, maybe have something else there - like a character (even if simply black to offset against the white boxes) stood on a box staying into the back of the picture or something.

I really like this. It has an abstract " snowscape " quality to it. A little hiking gnome with a walking stick would look good.

Fantastic idea with adding a subject, but I think a lack of color is almost better as it creates the feeling of emptiness or vast amounts of nothing. I think a subject would only add to the emotional aspect of the piece.

Looks nice! Simple, but well done. You posted twice http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?274494
