Large Object not apearing fully

Hi all, i am hoping you guys can help me out on this real annoying issue…

I have now just scaled my model, so that it is quite a bit larger, and now since i have done this, as i hit NUM 0 and go into camera perspective view. if i zoom out to much to fit the whole object correctly in the camera box, to get my shot ready for a render… half my object disappears, and its not my start and end clipping because i have checked that, in normal 3D view, i can view the image fine, its just when i hit NUM 0 and i want to zoom out that i loose half my object to the background somehow.

It still sounds like clipping, did you know that camera clipping is set separately from viewport clipping?
