Last minute 11 Second club Entry December

So, I wanted to practice character animation, so I decided to just check out what sound clip they were doing on 11secondclub.com. I fellin love with that sound clip, so with 3 days left to spare, here is my rushed entry. I think I did a decent job considering the time I spent.

There’s still MUCH more that could have been done. Such as animating the face better. I hardly even did anything with the eyes other than blinking. I was running out of time, so I had to just finish it. I’d love to get some feedback on this so I can make my next one (which I will actually spend time on) or maybe I’ll go back and rework this. Tell me what you think!

I used the Flick rig by Andreas Esau

You did a nice job for the amount of time you had. I’d love to see what you can do with a full month!

hey dude … lot more things to do… tighten your belt a bit more … in whole animation there is a prob in follow through … ya 1st solve that thing … your timing is good but all rules are not properly applied …
if u have time then finish it buddy … cause to start thing is lot more easy the to finish …

hope you gt it … best of luck mate

thanks

Your animation is much better than the average that you see on YouTube ( no in the 11 second Club, most of them have some extensive experience).

Beside of what could have been done as you pointed out, the animation still looks like pose to pose. There is not time shifting.

Good Luck

Thanks for the crit. guys! Looking back I see all kinds of problems. It really does look too pose to pose. Next time, I’ll spend more time, plan it better, and most importantly, do it better!

Have you done some animation with two characters talking with each other?
to get an audience - you have to tell a story with at least two characters.:no:
I love to have a tutorial on that subject. Perhaps you can do it? Or someone else?
