Last WIP of Metro Food

This is the 2nd and last work in progress before the final render in Clay Doh. It’s hard finding the right color palette. So I started watching tuto on youtube and it is better to use a limited palette first then go step by step. I used 3 here (tons of red) with an accent (white-ish one).

At least, it’s better than the first WIP posted here (with no material).

Hey, welcome to the Blender Artists community!

Your color palette isn’t bad. Personally I like the colors. Makes the feeling as if it’s happens during the fall season. On the other hand, you could try to play with color temperature, maybe it’ll help you to get even better results.

Anyway, keep going!

The only suggestion that I might make, and of course it’s entirely up to you, is that I would intuitively expect the outer skin of a street-car to be aluminum. It would not be a “matte brown/black texture.”

Beyond that, I think that the color palette is quite serviceable for now. And, if you disagree with me and think that the car is “painted,” that’s fine too.

Thank you! And I did change that and I didn’t think about this.
Materials and texturing is my enemy in 3D. I’m learning step by step with those projects but I used to avoid this part and put solid colors.

Oh cool, thank you so much :smiling_face_with_tear:
