This looks incredible, nice work on the modelling, the lighting and scenes also work really well.

Really awesome of you to say that. Much appreciated. I used the built in Sky Shader for the world environment instead of the usual HDRI’s. It works surprising well for setting up different lighting conditions and times of day. No other lights in the scene at all. The sea is just a plane with a bump.

Looks wicked! Amazing work :raising_hands:
How do you approach designing these vehicles?

Honestly, the design process is pretty simple. Just play with simple shapes (basically primitives) for the block-out stage and then boolean them together. Remesh, then run them through the smooth function in sculpt mode. Then dice/cut into the mesh with the slice/intersect boolean operator.

Appreciate such a detailed response, thanks! Of course it’s a simple process when you mastered it

Y’know, whether a thing is a “real-world, [historical] thing” or not, I just love to look at good visualizations like this one. It looks real. It has fine detail. For actual historical objects, it instantly shows you things that you might never know from photographs, drawings, or books. (And helps you fully appreciate what it once took to build them, in real life!)

Very nicely modeled, and convincingly presented. (I don’t care if that ocean is a plane!)
