Lattice like Sculptor

I need something like Sculptor (see the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnkqvZnhD0o&feature=player_embedded at min. 0.27 or 0.46). The only problem that I have is that I don’t know wich point of the lattice is selected (edit mode). Some one know it?

Not sure what you’re asking but anyway, this is the documentation for the lattice modifier http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual/Modifiers/Deform/Lattice

Thanks, but I need to know the index of the selected vertex of the lattice (blender 2.5) in Python, because to every vertex I must assign 3 value, then with a slider the script multiply the coordinates of every vertex with these values.

Hello,

In the video there appears to be deformation attached to a slider. If you wish to replicate this in blender, you can use a mesh deform instead of a lattice, and create shape keys for the mesh deform control object. You can also use the deformed mesh to rvk script to aid in exporting.

Perhaps it’s a good idea. I must try with it
