Hey. Would anyone be able to recommend good ways/places to learn about character animation (not modeling or rigging), especially computer, and everything it entails? If I want to be an animator someday, I might want to learn a bit about it.
You should definatley check out this book:
It will give you a very detailed overview of the whole animation workflow.
Additonally I can not recommend a personal mentor strongly enough. No matter if that’s online or at an animation school. Having someone who will look at your work and explain you why it doesn’t work will boost your animation skills.
