Learning Resources?

Hi,

I’m new to 3d but have been doing art for a while. I found out about blender here: http://www.mixamo.com/c/resources

I saw it was under the free section

Can anyone suggest what the best resources are for getting into 3d art in general?

Offers great tutorials.

If you’re starting from scratch with 3-D, you might look at lynda.com. I think you can get a monthly subscription for $30 a month or something, and they have some pretty well done classes on Blender, Maya, 3DS, Photoshop, After Effects, ect…

They’re particularly useful when you’re just starting because they systematically take you through the basics of using the program and are much more comprehensive than a tutorial.

Once you’ve already started to get the hang of things, though, I find them less useful because there’s just too much I already know and I get bored.
