Leaves experiment

I have never been too happy with the look leaves in IvyGen and find setting up a particle system with weight paint a bit tedious.
I thought I’d have a go at combining the two.
I did the usual IvyGen setup with leaves, then modelled a fairly basic leaf with a very simple geometry - just enough to be able to get some real shape into it. I then applied a particle system to the leaves - one particle per face putting in the number of generated leaves into the number of particles.
One leaf with one material, with ‘emitter’ off in the particle system.
A bit of adjustment in edit mode for particle orientation was required.
I think it came out reasonably well.
