This is an older model I rendered in lightflow a while ago. Some of you might remember.
Well to test a few new yafray features, I rerendered the model. Imo it looks much better than the original.
here is a 640-480 sucky compression version.
a 1024-768 link is underneath the picture (larger download)
I loved it the first time, and I love it even more now.
I think the DOF in the first version was a little much.
Are you using the anti-noise filter option? If so, can you share your settings on that? I seem to always get way too much noise. Could be cause I’m not setting my samples high enough or soemthing, but with older versions of Yafray, I just hit the button and bang, no noise.
Thanks. I wanted to test the HDRI (which turned out very good), the fast fresnel option (I just love fresnel), and the new AA settings (just to get familiar with).

No, I didn’t use anti-noise. I just set the samples high enough (16 for the hemilight, and 4 * 12 (=48 ) for the AA)
BgDM:If i were you, I’d just not use the anti-noise filter and instead trun up the raydepth of your lights. The extra render time is very much worth it…
It’s very good work. Really. I like it very much. :o
Only one crit: buttons on the gray ground lacks any shadow. They looks like tey’re howering over the board…
