My brother was about to take apart this spaceship, and he asked me to take a picture of it for posterity. Having taken pictures of the ship, I then brought it into GIMP and made it look cool. I lightened the windows, turned on lights, added fire to the engines, etc. The planet was made in blender.

The ship itself is a little weird, but I can’t criticize you about that, can I?
No, as I didn’t build it. The coolest thing about the ship is that the sections were interchangeable, and had an airlock at each end, so the ship was almost like a train in that you could swap the “cars” into different positions.
man, I wish I had thought to take pictures of the stuff I made when I was a kid. 
Oh well… Great idea and way to take it a step further!
