Thanks! Is the lens dirt too intense? It’s my first time using the effect, so I though it might look bad.

No, I like the effect
Have you considered doing an animation with one of your renders?

I have something planned… But no promises.

Do you think it looks photoreal? I have been staring at it for too long so I can’t tell anymore if it looks good or not.

Hmm
I think yes, but lego scenes are kinda hard to judge, compared to scenes with plants, people, etc.
It looks like a lego I could touch

Well, I think that’s pretty good considering I didn’t use any surface imperfections.

Impressive

It looks amazing! It is really really close to photoreal. I think what could maybe help to really sell the photoreal bit is adding not so much with surface imperfection, but lego building imperfection. Modeling or object changes. I’ve made some lego trains and I must say that not all the peices fit super duper perfectly. So maybe have a peice not pushed all the way in because it is too tight. Add a little more bends on some of the straight thin peices (the handrail)… etc It’s more of putting yourself in the shoes of the person who would build it for real and the challenges he might face to which might cause imperfections. Such as pushing a peice in too hard causing other peices to bend and not line up as well. I hope you get what I mean.
Anyways, I love trains and this lighten my day. GOOD JOB!

Yeah, I totally agree. I did have that in mind, and I’ll definely do it with future renders. I was more focused on the lighting and camp/color grade for this one, but I am working on a imperfection and color degrading shader.
