Here is a version with decreasing node intensity + add alpha

The reason it didn’t work before is because alpha is not necessary for using ‘add’ mode. It only uses the color value of a pixel. Hence we need to multiply both the colors of the pixels by the distance.

To change how bright the lights are tweak the minimum value.
