You shouldn’t limit yourself to blender specific tutorials. There are a lot of good tutorials that can help you with level design that aren’t for blender but will still be extremely useful to you. That being said you could check out the forums at http://www.worldofleveldesign.net/forums/. You should be able to find some pretty good info there. Hope that helps:)
Don’t design levels, make a scene,
just knowing a location, or style can fill a scene by thinking “what would be there”
the most important thing to think of as well is what is the intent of the scene? to scare? to push the story this way?
what are your limits as far as ???
by making a complex scene you can extract much smaller stuff by doing “Re-topo” and preserve much of the detail.
Akira_b is amazing at this…
But the real question is where are you trying to make your story go?
Exactly as everyone has said, once you have learned the tools, it’s not necessary to limit yourself to blender only tutorials.
As far as I remember there are threads with tips and links in the resource forum.

Also I believe Valve’s Steam portal has what they call Workshops on making games and levels.
