I was just searching for a way to convert a 3d file format and somehow managed to get on https://www.loc.gov/preservation/digital/formats/fdd/fdd000507.shtml(the Library of Congress website) and noticed that they talk about Blender being capable of converting .obj files! 
I’ve got to say it’s a little shocking that just a few years ago Blender was just a hobbyist tool, and now the Library of Congress is talking about it, and we’ve gotten lots of large company’s as sponsors.
