no it was a real model.
i take life drawing as part of my degree.
its a very good subject and heaps of fun. this is a male model as yuou might be able to tell, hes also very skinney and has really long legs LOL. we had a female model the other day so we get a huge mix of them all.
but for some reason this male model was more interesting to draw than the female one we had the other day.
his ribs showed heaps and all his muscles etc…
while the lady was a bit more curvey (which is also cool to draw) but the skin tends not to have the same streched over skeliton feel. but hips and breasts are pretty good to draw.

there is some problem with the right leg as well i think.

Cool, did you use comte chalk or a pencil? Now I see what you mean about depth, shading and perspective. That’s something I always had a hard time with. Good job, good luck with your degree. I has thinking about going back for post-graduate studies, geography though. That’s what my undergraduate degree was.
NO they are not to thin LOL (he was the skinniest person i have ever seen LOL, and has very long legs, i have some other drawings in different positions with skinney legs also)
as for the right leg, are you looking at the knee area?
because thats actually the corner of the box also, so yes it does look funny LOL, and you can see the sole of his foot in black.
i don’t know how in proportion his right leg is but thats pretty close.
considering its the second life drawing class i have ever done, and it was in 20 mins i’m happy (also its on A1 paper)
its charcoal, medium weight.
i have conte but havn’t used it yet really.
