Light Glare in BGE

Hello,

I have been using the Blender Game Engine for a while and I am getting used to it. However I haven’t learnt how to make glare’s and blur’s on emitting objects, like lamps. I’ve seen games like Grand Theft Auto use it, and it looks absolutely incredible! I know the Blender Game Engine is capable of such things, however I still haven’t figured a way around it. Could you please post the .blend files, as I can only learn that way.

I think you might be looking for a bloom filter. I don’t have an example file handy, but I think there are some examples floating around this forum (especially the resources section).

Thanks! That helped create a nice blur. However it doesn’t seem like it creates a glare with streaks. I’m looking for that effect so I can apply it to a street lamp.
