How would you make this radiostiy scene in the textures and be able to play them in the game engine?

well i 2.5 you now have indirect lighting which replace old 2.49 radiosity

very easy to use

just set the object you need with some EMIT and indiredt lighting
you can lower all amibant sky light may be add a little of environment light
and it works nicely

dude i am using 2.49b not 2.5 …

Here is the tutorial for baking Radiocity. But you can do the same thing using baking AO and it’s much easier. This is important when your scene get complex.
