Hi, guys. My friend and I wanna take the video for our film where he lands on the floor, but the floor emits light and casts strong shadows on him. The floor is CGI, but the problem is that we cannot appropriately imitate shadows because the light plane has to be exactly beneath him.
We tried to find LED light planes, but all of them are for the ceiling and won’t withstand human weight, especially jumping.
There was an idea to put transparent and hard polycarbonate in-between them, but 1x1m piece costs $150+ and still there has to be frame for it to distribute the load.
If smn has an idea or even a solution for this problem, I would appreciate to read it
