I’ve created a scale model of a to-be-built building from a floor plan. Here’s a rendering of a hallway:

To my eye, the hall seems very narrow, even though it is 6 feet wide. It is very long, over 75 feet to the daylight you see at the end. What do other people think, does it look ok, or off somehow? The camera is 5 feet above the floor and the lens is set to 32.
Second question is what is the best way to do the lighting for a scene like this? The rendering was done with a size 10 area light centered just below each white box in the ceiling. The white boxes and the ceiling itself are set to emit or they are just black. AO was turned on in the render, and needless to say, it’s not fast. I’ve tried different light types, but none really look like typical office flourescent lights.
Any suggestions?
