Maybe I am wrong, but in your requirements, you say you have to be able to use maya, after effects, etc. But this is a Blender forum, and nothing about Blender is said. So, I am not sure if this should be here…

A lot of people here use Maya and many other apps as well. Not to mention some employers will give credit to artists with a good reel rather than the specific software. Further many things can be done in Blender and interfaced with other pipelines as well as the other way around.

It is quite a testament to the reputation Blender and Blender artists must be getting in order for studios to post here for talent regardless of software.

Be happy that is happening more and more often. It is a good sign and don’t second guess it or think there is something that is wrong.

It is a good thing. Don’t mess with it.
