Lighting Issues

When using the new LibLoad method the lights don’t seem to be added with the rest of the scene. Is there anyway to get them in without linking every scene?

Likewise I don’t seem to be able to do much with lights once the engine starts. I’d hoped to so some kind of LOD-like system and turn them off when far away but so far I can only change color and intensity. Is there any way to disable or remove a light or affect the other settings like distance?

You can use the add object actuator to add a light to a scene and then remove that light based on distance from the player. I think this would be easier to do with python but could be done with logic bricks using near sensors and empties placed where the lights would be.

I thought setting a lights intensity to 0 disables it?
