Lighting Problem - HELP!

(extensor) #1

I modeled a head and when I render it I get light showing up inside the eye sockets and the mouth. I have 2 lights in the set up. 1 light is below and one to the right. So no light is aimed even remotely at the eye sockets or the mouth. And the sockets are all enclosed.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The “Vcol Light” button isn’t activated, is it? Are the Normals correct or inverted?

(extensor) #3

Vcol Light is not activated.
The normals are correct. pointing into the cavity.

(Spin) #4

Is the RayTrace option turned ON for each light? Is the RayTrace turned on for the rendering too?

(extensor) #5

The lights are lamps with stock settings. no ray trace on them.
And ray trace in rendering is off.
