Some of you may remember a collaborative car project I’ve helped with in the past, this is some more work from the thread at CGTalk :- http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=120564
Sonix - you work so damned fast man and do such excellent work. My only comments on the current state of the model are the front fenders - in the drwaing they’re a bit mor bulbous and protrude a little bit more from the front, in your wip, they’ve an extreme curve to them and there’s not enough ground clearance on them…first speedbump or RR crossing that thing went over would rip them right off the car, or mar the paint so badly as to ruin it completely. Even if the car has hydraulics in it, the curve is so extreme that I think it’ll catch the tires. Other than that though it’s an excellent model as always and I’m envious of your abilities.
oh…ok, you already made it haha,
i thought you were posting the concept your were going to make (i didnt see the link), haha
but its alreay built, looks cool
Cheers mate. I need to make the mesh indent mesh and I’ll sort out an exit hole at the same time.
If I taper the top section, the wheel tops will become exposed, as there’s not much space between the top of the fender and the top of the wheel. Could lift it up at bit I guess, but I think it’s tall enough already.
Perhaps just tapering the tops of the fenders slightly?
