Limit rotation constraint in edit mode

Hi,
To increase the number of blades of a shutter, I use the array modifier. (picture A)
To orient the blades, I use a limit rotation constraint but the roller shutter revolves around its origin! (picture B)
I can only correctly orient the blade in Edit mode. (picture C)

Is it possible to use a constraint in Edit mode?
Thanks for your help

Make them individual parts with their object origins where you want them to rotate.

Thank you but that’s already what I did. There are two roller shutters with 30 blades each. Also, I would prefer to find a faster solution to lower the shutter at will.

I thought you said you used an Array Mod, in which case the individual blades are not separate objects, just Array duplicates of the first one. In this case if you rotate the first one the Array duplicates revolve around the origin of the original object, not any point of there own.

To make a shutter I always use a curve for the shutter path, then use Curve Mods to get the animation. This is much like Tank Tracks and there are hundreds of tutorials out there on how to do this.
