Is there anyway to line vertices up in a strait row using a key shortcut, or must it be done manually?
Select all vertices, hit S then hit x,y or z, whatever you need. Hold cntrl and scale to zero.
also shift-S gives you the snap menu.
I’m not sure if this is the same, but here is a possible alternative.
If you want your selected vertices to be lined up on axis, press S (scale), X, Y or Z (axis), then Keypad 0. It will line them up at the midpoint between the 2 vertices (of those selected) that are furthest apart on the chosen axis.
If this is incorrect, could someone please correct it. I wouldn’t like to misinform.
