interesting…no offence, but dont you think the menu’s self explanatory? you’re not really adding anything new.
I think as a newbie (or someone who hasn’t looked at Blender in a year) it’s usefull. There are many times that I know I want to do something, but I can’t remember WHERE that action IS.
This lets you look over the whole command tree at a glance.
Not exactly for the hard core veteran, but lovely for the novice. Thanks mthoenes!

It is intended for my Blender Students, I am glad if it can be of use to you. Most of the tutorials online refer to the Hotkeys but do not tell you where the command is in the menu… I know it seems like a no-brainer but I wish I had studied the menu when I was a newbie. I will ask my students to keep acopy next to thier station to reference hotkeys. Most hotkey reference sheets are not grouped by category as this is. they are grouped by Key…
